HEY , mr pringleguy needs help... Well I want to buy a ethernet cable so i use a "wired" connection from my router to my PC ... so i can well bascially get the pure connection rather than stupid wireless..

My router is few rooms away from PC. So a 20M cable (which will be wired and drilled through walls and around tops + sides of doors.

I want CAT5e as i would like the 100MB/s , better future proof as my exchange shud get a network boost in feb as it will get fibreoptic.

no, i dont want cat6 it will be too much and etc.

OK, so i was about to go for this:

in a nutshell

" CAT5 enhanced ("CAT5e" or "CAT 5e") - supports networking at Gigabit Ethernet[ speeds (up to 1000 Mbps) over short distances by utilizing all four wire pairs, and it is backward-compatible with ordinary CAT5. "
