Hi,

I have asked psc if they can change cases when upgrading a pcs PC however they have informed me that they do not, which seems odd to me.

Is there any other option available if i want to change my case so i can put a bigger cooling system in?

You can do it yourself or go to a computer shop. There is the danger that you could invalidate your warranty though.

Yeah, feared as much...not sure why i got to go to a 3rd party for this, surely it would be something they should do as its more money?

I suspect it's because rather than just swapping a single component out (eg. a graphics card) where you can simply replace the component and do some tests for the relevant component, it's because for a case change (or a motherboard change) you have to completely dismantle the whole thing and build it from scratch again which I suspect is somewhat more time consuming.
Note: this is speculation on my part.

Edit: there is also the size issue, ie. what happens if you order a slightly smaller case than you had originally and don't realise it won't fit all the stuff you've got in there that you added since buying it (eg. if you ordered it with no GPU cos you'd ordered one elsewhere and they do allow you to add whatever stuff you feel like), what do PCS do then when they've dismantled it and started rebuilding to find not everything fits?
