Case suggestions

I'm ordering my PC today but I don't know what to get?

I was looking at the Fractal R3 because it looks smart and is supposed to have good cooling, but people have said the Cool Master 690? or the Cool Master HAF 912?

What are your guys thoughts?

P.S Video editing, not much gaming

To be honest I quite like the look of the InWin Dragon Rider case!

But I just want the case best for cooling, as well as looks

The Inwin Dragon or the 690 II coolermaster are both good cases, either will provide good air flow. Since the primary use is video editing I'd try to get a good cpu cooler.

I'm getting the TITAN FENRIR EVO EXTREME HEATPIPE CPU COOLER (£39), what do you recon?

It says on the website that it's all compatible, If so the side fan might be moved to another place in the case?

I didn't mean to say it is not compatible, the titan will fit in the case but the side panel would be removed, I was considering that case with the titan and I was told by PCS that the side panel fan would be removed (If I remember correctly). If you want an official response you could contact them.

just the large 200mm fan that covers the titan fenrir, you could still add a few 120mm fans to the side panel though.

I'm not sure if they would fit it elsewhere in the case, as its a big fan.

Looks good. I am not sure if you would benefit from the 1600mhz, you could perhaps consider the 1333mhz samsung. I found this article quite interesting regarding different memory bandwidth:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/4503/sandy-bridge-memory-scaling-choosing-the-best-ddr3/8

As a corollary, we've seen that some applications do react differently to higher memory speeds than others. The compression and video encoding tests benefited the most from the increased memory bandwidth while the overall synthetic benchmark and 3D rendering test did not.

From what I can see they are saying 1600mhz is the 'sweet spot' where it's justified price just from 1333mhz but not worth it for the 2133mhz, but the 2133mhz is the same price, however I don't think I need it!

nice spec, but I'd strongly suggest the corsair 650w psu, looks better, better energy efficiency, very reliable and theres and extra bit of power left IF you ever want a better gpu, more hard drives, etc etc
