Power cables and case fans

Hello It's me again.

I will need to order my pc soon as my current one has started to die (about 10 BSoD in the last couple days with absolutely zero changes to the pc to suggest a cause + including some after reinstalling the whole OS suggesting either some hardware failure or some rather extreme conflicts between drivers or something. Anyway story for another time).

Anyways. On the customization page there is the option to choose between a UK power cable and an European power cable but no option for both?

I'm from England but currently living in Finland however I may move between both countries now and then so It would be nice to have both power cables to save me routing things though adapters. Is there a way I can get both power cables with my order?

----------------
Edit: Thought I would edit another question here rather than making another thread.

Right so the case I'm looking at is a CM Storm Trooper. For cooling this lists:

1 x rear 140mm case fan
2 x front 120mm case fan
1 x top 140mm case fan

Extra Fan Capacity (Not Supplied)

1 x bottom 120mm
2 x side 120mm

Note: Case fan configuration may change depending on hardware installed.

Now If I put a Corsair H100i in it, that'll have to get installed on the ceiling of the case meaning that the x1 top 140mm case fan will be removed. Now that fan will be too big to go onto any of the extra fan capacity slots (unless I've got something wrong) but would the fan be provided as a 'spare part' sort of thing along with the rest of my order or does PC Specialist keep it if they've removed it to install the H100i? I won't likely need it so I'm not going to lose any sleep over this one but I am curious.

On the configurator probably not, however, once you've made your order if you give them a call they may be able to manually add the other adaptor to the order.

Hmm calling is not something I really like to do If I can avoid it due to the rather costly charges when phoning from one country to another (also I got shampoo on my phone a few days ago and might have broken it lol). I haven't gone that far in the order process when I've been window shopping to know whether or not there's room somewhere for some notes to the order though.

Perhaps there is a way for me to send an email at the time of making the order?

Edit - I added another question to OP relating to case fans

Hi, yes an email will be fine although are generally quite a slow method of contact. I recommend emailing them the same day as you put in the order.

I'm not sure about the fan either. They would most likely keep it as a spare for themselves incase another breaks in testing and saves them sending one back. Of course you could ask if your fan could be included for you in email as well.

Hmm, maybe. My wife has had her American Macbook plugged in using a bog standard USA to UK adaptor for the last four years with no issue.

Macbook uses a lot less power than even a low end PC. If you have a decent adaptor though there shouldn't be any issues, its just the cheap ones and can often be difficult to work out which are the good ones.

Since the cable is a standard "kettle" power lead (IEC 60320 C13/C14), you should be able to pick up the relevant UK/European cable from a local supplier for a few pounds/euros (currently around 2 GBP on Amazon) - that's if you just don't reuse the power cable(s) you currently have.

While I will have a power cable going spare (as it's unlikely I can give my current PC to my girlfriend when it's having some serious trouble) it's from a 550w PSU. I would imagine that would make a difference if I attached it to my planned 850w?

Kettle leads are all built to the same standard and are designed to take very high power, even those that come with low end PSUs.

Ah well that's cool. I will likely try and get an additional EU lead with my order though and keep playing with this pc until I can work out what's going wrong.

Thanks, good to know. :)
