Hi greybing, if the PC is booting and you hear the post beep etc you will just need to set the TV as a display in the drivers, easier said than done with no monitor!, best to give us a call.

It should, if you have the right cable.

Sure its not the side fan? That just clips on with metal clips, god only knows how many times ive taken it off to change my RAM thats hiden under it ;) Just make sure teh clip is fitting into the groove all the way round the edge.

no,its definatly the actual heat sink thats a tad loose, when my pc arrived ,initially i could pull the heat sink away from the cpu abit so i tightened the screws and it seems fine, the fan had falle off also and it took me a while to get it back on,it was a bugger, its annoying that i cant get an image on my tv ,im just sat here looking at my new pc,unable to go on it.i thought i could maybe get an image with the new vga cable i bought but alas its not the case-is it normal for the pc to not switch off at the power switch, considering ive got no image-whilst trying to get an image i have had to turn it off at the plug 4 times, not good i know..im just gonna wait for my friend now

have you held it down, the power button? The VGA cable should work tbh, I guess youre using teh DVI to VGA adapter? Youre on VGA PC mode on TV?

ihave just worked out how to switch off ,yeah ,by pressing down for longer-still cant get an image -ive got my pc connected to my tv via a vga cable,no adapter, ive definately got the tv in the right mode-just can not get an image ,ive checked the connections and everything is in place-the g card is in firmly, all my fans spin ,the hard drive vibrates ,the pc apears to boot up withn a little beep ther is just5 no god damn image-im gonna get my mate to bring a monitor so i can see if i get an image with that-if i dont i would assume there would be a prob with graphics card -any thoughts people ,they would be much appreciated- its so annoying i have saved up for my pc from may, just want it to blummin work

U said it beeps twice. This is indeed hardware issue from what i remember? Try taking all RAM out, except one, keep trying this until youve tried each stick seperately (and boot each time).

And work it shall, but you not being able to contact us via phone is a big problem.

Things to check:

1. As suggested ensure all ram is seated properly, gently push it into the mainboard, note any travel or clicks.
2. Check the GPU has the correct power cables running to it and the are in securely. If it has, follow the power cables back to the PSU, are they on a molex adaptor? if so make sure it is plugged in securely.
3. Contact tech support!

Ah yes :( What about an iphone or ipod touch? Any of those lieing around? I would say remote access but I doubt the pc is even booting up so probs nothing to do with the monitor.

This is the reason we have tech support, doesnt really work without a phone though :(

ok ,tried everything which has been suggested and there has been no luck-the only thing i have not tried yet is with a friends monitor -but this is a hardware problem,is it not ,what with the multiple beep.as for contact through phone -even using a friends mobile is probably out of the question as it would cost me too much -i can go to my mothers house and use hers but i guessed youd need me at the pc -thing is there is nothing more i could add in terms of details over the phone and any suggestions could be made online-anyway my friend is coming round later ,hopefully with a monitor ,he can give his opinion and if after that ither is still no joy -im not sure RMA?
