Cannot connect to internet

i got my computer a few weeks ago and finally got it set up last night, but now i cannot get it to connect to the internet. It is seeing the network name but it just wont connect, i have my windows 7 laptop right next to it so it isnt a signal problem, anyone got any idea what is wrong and how i can get it to work

ok i can get it to connect when i use a wireless adaptor but i dont understand why it isnt connecting with out it. it should with these specs right?

Have you tried repositioning the antennas,
I'm assuming you have a wireless card installed as it doesn't
appear to be listed.

To be honest i cannot remember what wireless choice i choose, the specs above i changed the wireless about a few times. but from what i see i have is just a wee bit of plastic about an inch long with a yellow/green light and the wireless symbol on it. as you can prob tell i aint great with specs of computers and such

I found what i was to connect lol. Is there normally anything else i am meant to connect up

Not normally,apart from the obvious,mouse,keyboard etc.:)
In some cases a fan needs to be connected but I think you would be warned about that.
