Hello All,

Is anyone able to tell me what connector this power supply has? I'm really struggling to find out what it is.

It's for the following power supply:

330W LAPTOP POWERPACK for 17.3" Octane III G-Sync

Cheers!

Hello,

The cable from the really heavy power supply brick to the laptop is about a meter, which is far too short. When I use my laptop I sit on the sofa and use a laptop table and it doesn't allow much movement without it putting stress on the connector at the back of the laptop. I think it'll be only a matter of time before I'll have to resolder the connector inside the laptop.

I see, sorry can't help. I'm fairly certain it's proprietary to Clevo.

Is it possible to use a mains extension lead to bring the PSU nearer to you, then rest the brick on a stool or similar to allow some slack.
Don't suppose it would hurt contacting PCS to see what advice they could offer, wrt the psu cable.

It's made by delta electronics and I've seen the same connector for a MSI laptop in my scouring of the internet, which makes me think it's some standard connector. The closest guess I can make is a DIN 4 pin.

I did consider something like this but I've got a baby that has just started crawling, which likes to grab wires. This and the stress on the connector at the back has prompted me to finally do something about this. So I need it out the way and in a safe place, which I can do if it was a bit longer.

I was planning on creating a short bit of extension cable that I could just plug the connector of the laptop into and then plug the extension cable into the laptop.
