It has arrived!!! I had it delivered at my work place and it's MAAAASSIIIVEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! I cant carry the box as at 5' 5" my arms aren't long enough. Suffice to say it will take 2 people to get it in the car and I dont think it will get in there either as the door doesnt open that wide

I want to send out a massive thank you to all the good people at PC Specialist. I have called you several times and you have always been extremely patient.
I will make a proper post later when I unpack it, set it up and take pictures... but for now,

THANK YOU ALL who have put up with my impatience and ramblings. I can now try to shut up :whistling:

:D I tried celebrating, colleagues looked at me like I was crazy and a couple of the ladies said: Boys and their toys!
*facepalm* technophobia among women is still rife lol but Im not going to be the woman to help the rest out. If they decided to give me a male appendage because it made them feel better so be it... I have better things to do, like going home and swooning all over my new beast :)

It's worse when you work as a Network Engineer and you get someone on the phone who says: is there a man I can talk to? :D :D

I need a copy of that book, which no doubt was written by men and is only owned by men :p
however it does come in handy online not pointing out one's gender every now and then :shifty:

Must admit, I was a little surprised when I first found this out! However, I did start chuckling when I linked this fact to her name...*Music Guy runs away hastily*

And as stated before, Rakk is the name of the character in my avatar who happens to be my male character in the MMO I've played for far too many years :)

Morning guys and ladies...

Not celebrating much....
The build of the PC was really great, all very tidy and I couldnt have done a better job myself. But... DAMN YOU BITFENIX!! or the supplier really :( they supplied PCS with the Windowed Colossus and that is one case I did not want.
After opening up the massive box my heart sank and I've been feeling very meh since.

Also, apart from missing out on all the led funk on the side panels, now the Colossus lights up only in RED instead of red, blue and a transition between them. Had I had a choice I would have gone for blue... I know it's only cosmetics but... Im a visual person and let's be honest the case is a huge part of the equation.

I have already spoken with PCS and they apologized as nobody called me to let me know they had only received the windowed version.

Rather meh to be honest.
Still... as soon as my place is no longer a bomb site I will post pictures in the correct forum subsection.


I'll go be moody and sulk in a corner now.

ofc im behind deadeye, ive not been around too much on the forums recently, too busy enjoying my pc which is nearly 1 year old!

and thats a shame samanosuke, you could try getting a non windowed side panel if it affects you alot, if you dont mind spending 20 quid or so on one :)

and gorman i would come meet up but its getting the time off at the right time to travel to a LAN :<
