Hello all. I put this thread here as it only happens on my PC not my laptop.
So...
I treated myself to a nice new Tritton A Pro+ 5.1 headset the other day. For some reason, I get a really bad buzzing sound in the headset when plugged in using the 3.5mm jacks. Doing some research this sounds like it may be due to electrical interference. I don't even know where to start in order to stop this. The noise gets worse when I move the mouse on the screen. In games, the headset buzzes like mad (as there is so much movement on the screen).
Any ideas?
UPDATE:
Okay, it appears to be the USB microphone (attached to the 3.5mm plugs). If I unplug it and plug the USB into an exterior power source (suing my laptop) the buzzing goes away completely, however, that means the microphone is useless.
