Purchase isn't for me, is for a friend. They were just about to spend £800 on a laptop with 8GB of 2133MHz RAM and an awful CPU...I just could not allow it!! I've asked them if I can try to find them anything better and they accepted, so here we are.
I personally don't know a lot about laptops and how they should be built (I don't understand the CPU's...letters? Pfft!). Would it even be possible to make some sort of budget editing laptop for £1000 (£100 leniency) for light editing? She's setting up a small business so wants to be able to create graphics for her shop, only needing to be 1080p graphics so nothing too demanding. Also will just be using it for general browsing that's all.
Any recommendations would be helpful as I have no idea where to start with a laptop!
