Broken promises

I'm still waiting for my laptop, twice I've been told it would be delivered to an updated address and now I've just found out again they tried to deliver it to the old address. Yesterday I chatted with someone from PCS on online chat where I once again gave the new address and was promised pre 10am delivery today. The last time I tried to call PCS I had to wait 25 mins (no exaggeration) for the call to be answered. Nobody responds to the messages I send using PCS's own messaging system.

Would somebody from PCS please call me regarding order number : 408320.

We respond to all enquiries, but with thousands of call per day sometimes both answering the phone and responding to messages can take longer.

As I have just mentioned in the other thread you have posted in, you can clearly see our call waiting times before you call here: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/call-waiting/. As we are extremely busy at present there is likely to be an increased wait at times.

We dispatched you order on the 25th August but due to delivery issues your order was been returned to us as un-delivered. We will re-attempt delivery again!

Due to the fact that somebody at PCS forgot to update the delivery address. I had already by that time had to email a copy of my passport and a copy of a utility bill from the friend's house where I am currently staying as proof of my ID and proof of address. The receipt of these were acknowledged by PCS and so there was no mistake from my side in the 'delivery issues' as you so euphemistically call them. Yesterday I chatted with someone on the online chat system who again asked me for the new address which I duly entered again only for the package to again be dispatched to the old address which I just confirmed by calling my parents (the old address) to find that Yodel had tried to deliver the package there this morning. The only reason I am making this public is because I believe I have been reasonably patient and understanding and I would have hoped that somebody from PCS would have made the effort to call me by now.

I can see where your coming from but as PCS stated in thsi post not so long ago, they are extremely busy at the moment and are getting back to peopel as quick as possible. Im sure you can understand that there are other people with problems too that need sorting and as soon as they are able to answer you they will.

Just to keep things in perspective, PCS have since called me, apologized for the inconvenience and are also going to help me with my upgrade to a matte screen which I'd wanted before I went ahead with my order but are only now in stock. I know that in a world of Amazon Prime we are all getting used to instant gratification, and so I may have been a little over impatient, with that in mind I want to take the time to thank PCS for remedying my situation and look forward to receiving my machine with the matte display that I originally wanted.
