Looks good for £75 as a beginner camera. Ive not used it myself so can't really comment on that however not having to change lenses can either be a good ro a bad thing, it can get annoying carrying lenses around if you're really only interested in general photography. However if you are trying to get very specific shots, it can be annoying not having a specific macro lens, or a nice telephoto.

I use a Canon 30D and a Canon 5D, both extremely nice cameras, they are obviously a lot more expensive than the £75, however for me I couldn't live without my sigma 180mm macro lens. I think your main decision should be based around lenses and whether you would be happy to stick with only the one. What are you going to be using it for?

ive got a fujifilm compact, its pretty good quality, 720p video and 14mp pics with 4x optical zoom, cost me £70 brand new inc. memory card, case and rechargable batteries + charger

fujifilm is definitely a good camera maker, would definitely recommend them

cant really help you with the camera itself just thought id give my review on fuji

I will be using it mainly for video.

I've heard the audio is the worst you can get and it picks up the zoom sound, however I shall be disabling the onboard microphone.

I shall be using a good microphone or direct input.

I just want something to film with really and I can't afford a camcorder

I'm going to have to use my 2450 mAh NiMH batteries but I've heard the battery life in this camera is good.

That's it Frenchy like you say, can't go wrong for £75 for a first camera.

I'm not worried about lenses or doing photography seriously, I know that this camera has good zoom, macro and super macro, and goes from wide lense to telepohot? I don't know, but I think ou can get some wide angled shots with it and close up shots which is handy for me.

I shall be using it for some photography but it's not like I'm a photographer, just buying this because I can't afford a camcorder :p and then, as a plus, if I decide to take some photos that look good I can.
