Bit Of An Odd One...

Not really PC related, but I'm baffled as to what to do.
My mum received a post office note through the door saying they'd missed us and a parcel was waiting to be collected.
Off she went to collect it. I found the parcel in my room just now, as I've just got home from work. In it was a Logitech G600 Gaming Mouse. She assumed it was mine, and I'd ordered it through her Amazon, hence her name on the post label. However, the invoice inside is from Amazon.es and as it's in Spanish we can't read it.
But this mouse was not ordered by me, nor my mother, and there is no record of the order on either of our Amazon accounts. Yet it's been posted to my mum. I'm baffled! What the hell's going on? And what do I do?
It seems odd that it appears just as I want to get back into PC gaming too.

Amazon Spain, or UK?
Not entirely sure which number to use from the receipt. We've checked our bank accounts and nothing has come out either, very odd.

Be worth checking your mums credit report, n make sure no false accounts have been setup in her name.

If I remember Amazon invoices correctly, it looks like it was meant to go to an Emilio Suarez Otero who lives in Vigo in Spain, but somehow the package ended up with your address on it, I'd phone Amazon UK (for a start they'll speak English) and explain it to them and I'm sure they'll sort it out and make sure it does get to the right person.

I'll tell her to check her credit file now.
It is very concerning, mainly the fraud aspect. However, 2 weeks ago I was in Spain, and I've just ordered a PC to start gaming again. Then a mouse, destined, or from Spain appears. Freaky!

So this mouse was destined for Emillo? But it's somehow come from Spain, to my address? Do you think it could be down to computer error with addresses then?

Well its got his name and address on there twice, once for the invoice address and the other I think is normally the delivery address, so yeah I think there's been a slight hiccup somewhere and its actually ended up with your delivery address on it - hopefully Amazon will clear it up - their customer service is normally fast and very good.

Well hopefully they'll get back to me soon then. Checked Mum's report and everything on it is hers so that seems okay.

On a better note, I have an email from PCS saying my laptop has been built, 1st day!

Strange one, do let us know how it happened if you ever find out.

I'd definitely get in touch with amazon and make sure they sort it out, could be something dodgy going on. That and just to make sure anything you order isn't going to spain...

They've been emailed. If they don't get back to me, I'll phone them.
