Bit late as I already ordered, but worrying if there's any glaring issues!

Hi everyone! Ordered late December and a few days into pre-production. Very excited and can't wait but now worrying if there's anything wrong with the build I'm unaware of. The compatibility checker when building was great and let me know I needed a bigger case and a smaller PSU. But would still love feedback.
I'm not sure exactly what I want from this PC, I didn't envision it or have a desire for it to run the latest games at high settings or anything. Ideally would love it to run most games on High and above at 60fps but obviously game requirements vary.

I don't know if I can amend the order or not as it stands. But if there's anything that you advise to change I'd take on board! My display is a Samsung 43" UHD 4K TV (T7100). I know monitors are better but I don't really play competitive online games so not really worried about refresh rates or whatever! Thanks!

Blimey, that's the sort of thing I was worried I might've missed. Is there an AMD CPU you recommend in a similar price bracket from the one I chose? Can i even change at this point or have I screwed myself over rushing to buy before checking the forums? Thanks for the article

Edit: Just tried to amend my order, can only change to other Intel CPUs. Damn, my own fault really

You'd have to cancel it and order again. I would still recommend doing that, it's not worth investing this much in a PC that's already obsolete.

I'm worried about doing that as I'm paying by Finance and wouldn't want me backing out to potentially affect my credit score. I understand it's already obsolete, but it should still perform well enough, right? Obviously years down the line I imagine it'll struggle and I primarily play on console, just wanted a better PC compared to my current that I built back in 2016 and was already years behind in specs.

Your credit won't be affected, you have 14 days until after the PC is delivered to back out without affecting anything, normal european returns laws.

I would still strongly recommend cancelling.

Agreed your fully within your rights to cancel and finance does not start until the product has been deliverd as pointed out by spydertracks I would also strongly agree with cancelling your order one of the many guys on this forum would easily spec you out a great system in your price range

Is it really that bad? I completely take on board the AMD argument, but will this I5-9400 really be poor? I mostly want to be playing games from 2010-19, like GTA V, Fallout 4, Euro Truck, Witcher 3 can that CPU handle that? I've said I'm not worried about running the latest and demanding games as I'll play those on console. I'm already impatient and wanted the PC to arrive during lockdown, especially as my current PC is on its last legs and cancelling and reordering could add so much time on the wait.

If I was to cancel, what would you recommend? I have a budget of roughly £1000 but willing to go over if worthwhile.

Also just to point out you should really opt for silver warrenty its only £5 and covers collection of your pc for a year rather then a month ! :)

Rather than just cancel outright, price up a similar spec but obviously changing CPU and, if applicable, motherboard and see if you are happy with that config first. Then give them a call about changing your order - you will be on the phone a while unfortunately.

It's an entirely different platform, you don't get a choice about changing motherboard.
