i have baught a second hand laptop no idea of the actual name of it but the system model in system information says: GK7CP7S
i cannot find a bios update on the website and i would like to update it to the latest version
can anyone help

You'd have to ask the owner to transfer warranty, without that you're not eligible for any support, that's assuming it's a PCS chassis and not another SI's model in which case you'd need to register it with them.


Once you've done that and you have a PCS account, you'd need to give PCS a call as they're the ones who have the BIOS files.

Can i ask why i need to transfer over warranty for a 4 year old laptop just for a bios update?
Because you're not eligible for any support without it as outlined. Sellers are aware of this, if they refuse to hand over ownership I would cancel the sale as the system will never run properly without the required master driver and other things.
