bios clarification and memory speed

Hey, my new pc arrives in t-1hour. Been watching vids that have been linked in sticky threads on the forum here, and saw the bios sticky @ https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/bios-updates.58007/

Just wanted a bit of clarity regarding the bios, as per the sticky, my takeaway is that I shouldn't update it unless I get authorisation from PCS, would that be through their main website tech support or from the forum here?
Also the ram speed, will the pc arrive with the full speed enabled, or will I have to go into the bios to check/enable it?
I do apologise if this is spelled out for me elsewhere on the forum and I've missed it. I've got the new pc butterflies stirring and want to dot the i's etc.

This isn't an official support channel and it's run by volunteers, not PCS staff, so you'd need to either phone or create a ticket through your main account on the main website.

It should be enabled by default

No-one on the forum works for PCS, so we couldn't authorise anything.

You'd have to wait for the tech/customer support team to be online (chat or phone) to authorise it...but I'd not bother unless the BIOS is very old, or there's a specific fix that is needed for an issue or RAM speed/timing compatibility.

BIOS: This forum, whilst part of PCS, is not an official support channel as such (it's mainly volunteer customers here). For a BIOS update, you'd need to get in touch via either a message through your online account on the main website or via phone call. Authorisation must be sought before any update lest it will invalidate your warranty. To be honest, unless you are having issues or an update fixes a secutiry issue or something, you shouldn't need to update anyway

RAM speed: The full speed should be enabled...however, there have been instances where the PCS tester has forgotten to switch the overclock back on so might be worth checking
