I've been having a lot of problems with bsod and after many phone calls to the support guys, it was suggested I swap out my Corsair ram for Kingston as there was the possibility of an issue with Corsair ram and my Asus motherboard. Three days later and despite my best efforts, not one blue screen. Many thanks to all the members of the telephone support team for not giving up and solving a difficult problem. You are a credit and a great asset to pcspecialist.

Hehe, I was right again :p Goodness knows when Corsair and ASUS are going to sort out this compatibility issue.
