Best hard drive option for the Proteus II

I'm considering getting the Proteus II for boyfriend birthday but don't know the best hard drive to choose from. I'm set on getting the 970M graphic card as this will be mainly used for gaming. Any imput appreciated

Depends on your budget, best combination would be slim blue 1tb and an ssd as an msata drive.

Get the 120gb MSATA, ask them to install the OS files on that, and get a 1tb Samsung EVO SSD for storage

with the 970 and 16gb ram, that is more than enough, and still under your budget

I would just say that for your budget, I'd consider an alternative to the proteus, like the vortex or defiance, you'll get a much better quality build for that money. The proteus is designed as a cheap system and so has a lesser quality panel and frame.
