Hiya everyone, so past few months I have been saving money for an ultimate PC build that will last a very long time.
I am a part time video editor that uses software such as Adobe & Sony Vegas both of these software's tend to use alot of RAM & GPU whenever available.
I would like the new PC be able to handle PC games @ 4K resolution without any issues.
What do you think of the following build:-
Case
COOLERMASTER HAF-X FULL TOWER GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™i7 Six Core Processor i7-6850K (3.6GHz) 15MB Cache
Motherboard
ASUS® RAMPAGE V EDITION 10: E-ATX, USB 3.1, SATA 6 GB/s, RGB Ready
Memory (RAM)
64GB HyperX SAVAGE DDR4 2666MHz (4 x 16GB Kit)
Graphics Card
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 - DVI, HDMI, 3 x DP - GeForce GTX VR Ready!
2nd Graphics Card
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 - DVI, HDMI, 3 x DP - GeForce GTX VR Ready!
1st Hard Disk
500GB Samsung 750 2.5" SSD, SATA 6Gb/s (upto 540MB/sR | 520MB/sW)
1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive
16x BLU-RAY WRITER DRIVE, 16x DVD ±R/±RW & SOFTWARE
Power Supply
CORSAIR 750W CS SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET
Power Cable
1 x 1 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
Corsair H100i V2 Hydro Cooler w/ PCS Liquid Series Ultra Quiet Fans
Thermal Paste
ARCTIC MX-4 EXTREME THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY COMPOUND
Fan Controller
NZXT Sentry 3 Fan Controller with upto 5 Fitted Case Fans
Sound Card
ONBOARD 8 CHANNEL (7.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Wireless/Wired Networking
ASUS PCE-AC88 AC3100 2100Mbps/5GHz, 1000Mbps/2.4GHz
USB Options
MIN. 2 x USB 3.0 & 6 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL + MIN. 2 FRONT PORTS
The reason why I have chosen ASUS RAMPAGE V EDITION 10 motherboard is because I would like to make this PC future proof. It has numerous number of PCIe slots which will allow me to add PCIe equipment in the future if needs be.
The reason why I have chosen 64GB HyperX SAVAGE DDR4 2666MHz is because Adobe tends to make the most out of RAM when it's available. Choosing this type will allow me to increase the RAM upto 128GB
The reason why I have chosen 8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 great reviews on product and works great on memory hungry applications
My question:
Processor Cooling: Corsair H100i V2 Hydro Cooler w/ PCS Liquid Series Ultra Quiet Fans
It would be my very first build that contains a liquid cooling system, should I be worried? How often does this need to be changed?
I really hope to hear from the members.
Thank you.
Steve
