Beep or bleep on start-up. Can it be turned off?

Hi folks,

Only one bleep but it sounds exactly like the very first note of my alarm clock - which I hate. :walkman:

Can it be modified or turned off?

I think it's the 'battery ok' signifier for the ASUS P8Z68-V Motherboard??

There are ways to turn it off,but really you should keep it on.
The one beep is telling you everything is ok,
if for some reason something goes wrong & you cant boot into windows,
the beep code could point to the problem & save you a lot of time & trouble.

Personally that beep is one of my favourite sounds, as like vanthus says, it's telling you everything is ok.

Understood. I'll leave it alone. I do wish I could make it a more 'friendly' bleep. More of a churp :whistling:
