Background noise with Creative Fatal1ty.

Hey guys. :turned:

Been using my new PC for over a month now, works amazingly, does everything I ask it to easily.

I have been having one very minor problem, I ordered the Creative Titanium Fatal1ty card with the front panel and whenever I plug headphones into the jack in the front panel I get a little background noise, it seems to change a little while moving the mouse and that.

When plugged into the jack at the back, there is no problem with the sound at all.

Is there any way to stop the noise? It's really not major but it would save me having to pull out the PC whenever I want to use speakers/headphones or plug in the old gaming headset.

Like I said, it's a really minor problem, but one of these small niggling ones.

Also, I've tried this with 3 pairs of headphones, all have the same problem.

Ah well, guess I'm not the only one stumped by this

I'll play around and try a few things, if that fails, well...it's a minor annoyance anyway.

The noise could be caused by electrostatic interference,
this can sometimes be solved by rerouting the audio cable if possible,
especially clear of GPU & hard drives.
some people also try shielding the cables,I dont suppose you want to go to that length,
