ASUS TUF X570-Plus vs ASUS ROG STRIX X570-F

Hi all,
I've ordered my PC as per the specs below but am just wondering if I've made the right choice of motherboard. The PC will mostly be used for gaming/general use/PLEX and a little engineering 3D modelling and analysis (not a massive amount though probably). It'll be paired with a 1440p 144Hz monitor, the exact one is undecided but leaning towards an LG 27GL850. I'll be adding another cooler myself soon and already have HDDs to add in.
The CPU/GPU is a 5600X/3070 and my question is, do I really need the ASUS ROG Strix X570-F or would I be better suited just getting the ASUS TUF X570-Plus and saving the extra cash to spend elsewhere? I originally had the TUF but changed it to the STRIX. I read the great Desktop Building Guide where it says regarding the X570 Strix " it's definitely only recommended for the 5900X+" which is making me question it.
Many thanks in advance, it's great seeing so many knowledgeable folks helping out people on this forum.

I should maybe add, I don't plan to do any serious overclocking but wouldn't mind having a little dabble in it.

I'd go for the TUF, realistically you could have a B550 board in there but that's the more appropriate of the two options you've suggested.

I'd put the savings elsewhere in the build, cooler (not sure what your plan is, have you already purchased one?) and an extra M.2 drive.

Hi Agentcooper, thanks for the advice. I was thinking of the Noctua NH-D15s for a cooler, maybe a little overkill though and I know will hide a lot of the RGB goodness of the RAM. I am a little split over air cooling vs AIO, I'd like to keep it fairly quiet though. I do plan on adding another M.2 down the line though was hoping to get the best bang for my buck just now and add to it later. Depending on certain things in the future I'd even maybe like to toy with building my own water cooling loop. I'm an engineer so can't help but fiddle and tweak things but that'd likely be a few years away.

The Noctua is a cracking cooler so with the case and CPU you've chosen will do the job nicely :D (y)
