When I first placed my order this was the gpu selected is it the case now that we could get any random 3080 as my order now just displays nvidia 3080

Did you definitely order the Strix? I'd see if you can amend your order to the Strix just to be certain. If you ordered the Strix, then you'll get it. If you selected the standard 3080, then you'll get a random one.

The strix is a separate listing to the generic cards.
