Just seen a new motherboard on CAD configurator (P8P67 WS revolution) of which has been added to configurator since I ordered my PC on monday. Any benefits against a P8P67 pro (which is what i ordered but still in pre-production)? WS is approx £70-£80 more.

Thanks all,

Daryl

From a quick look they don't look that much different, the only thing I can see is the following:

WS Revolution: says it supports 3-way/2-way sli or Quad CrossFire where as the P8P67 Pro says it supports Quad in both formats.

The WS Revolution does however say it supports up to 4 Nvidia Tesla GPU's which the Pro does not mention supporting.

Everything else looks much the same.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for reply - Likely to stick with P8P67 pro; however, forum users on OCUK are reporting several issues with this board. PCS - have you had any issues in testing and I trust that the one I have on order will be throughly checked/tested before dispatch?

Thanks,

The whole PC will be run for I believe 24hours running diagnostics and stress tests before dispatch, this shows up as Quality control on the order process.. If a issue is foud it will go back into production and have any parts replaced if required and back in for another stress test.

All PC's from PCS go through this process to eliminate any issues witht he machine before dispatch. OCUK may be reporting issues witht he board, but it may have been a bad batch or something and the new stock is perfectly fine. But as i say if there are any issues they will be found in the stress test. I find it highly unlikely if the board has major known issues it would be stocked by PCS let alone sold.
