Are these good specifications for a PC? Sorry, this is my first time getting one and I'm trying to make sure I get it all right.

Welcome to the forums!

You can probably improve value for money with that :)

What is the budget?

What was the above quote's price?

What are you going to use the PC for?

If gaming, what monitor are you gaming on? What is the resolution and refresh rate (or if you don't know the exact model) of the monitor?

Any non-gaming uses? Specific software?

I'm going to pay on Finance so like maximum £35 a month.
I'm going to use the PC mainly for gaming.
I don't have a monitor yet, but my friends are telling me to get a 144Hz.
Thanks for replying so fast too, really appreciate.

Instead of the i7 9700, am AMD R5 3600 is much better value, giving very solid performance and being a lot less expensive. It's the go-to CPU at the moment for mid-range gaming systems.

£35 per month on finance is a bit under £1100.

Something like:

There are loads of 1080p 144hz monitors on the market to choose from, but this will start you off at least :)

That's fine.

The first bit is just saying that you don't need a 550W PSU to run the hardware in the buuild, but the point of the 550W PSU is to allow for future upgrades you might make. It's common to replace the graphics card of a gaming PC every few years, and a 550W PSU will give you more freedom when selecting future GPUs.

The second bit is just to ask where you want Windows installed - the M.2 SSD or the HDD. The default is the SSD, which is where you want Windows :)

Holy smokes dude, thank you so much for helping me out. I really do appreciate it and will now buy the PC because of you, so thank you! Godspeed brother!

No worries at all, glad it helped some :)
I'm so sorry but I have one last question. Do you know any good monitor recommendations I should get with the PC to get it to like £35-37 a month? I would love to get 2 really great monitors for the PC.

You don't need 2 of the same monitor. Get 1 monitor for gaming, and if you want a 2nd monitor, any old budget monitor will do.

For instance you could get the MAG271CR as your gaming monitor, and if you want in the future, buy a 2nd monitor to use alongside it.

No point buying 2 expensive monitors because things like adaptive sync and the fast refresh rate (the things that make the monitors expensive) are only beneficial for games. You can get a plain old 60hz monitor for your 2nd monitor. And you don't have to buy it now, you could buy it any time you like in the future.

Do you think I should get that monitor or do you think I should get a different one? I think I might like to get a different one apart of the PC bundle. Any recommendations for monitors that are apart of that PC bundle?

That monitor is fine if you like the look of it.

There are loads of monitors of that sort of spec available to choose from and tbh almost any of them are going to be at least fine. I listed a few models here:

Some are sold by PCS, but others aren't. Only thing I'd say is that you'll want to choose whether you want a 24" screen or a 27" one. Some people find 27" is a bit too big for 1080p resolution, but other people are fine with it.

I might go with this one instead, ASUS VG248QE 24" GAMING DISPLAY. Do you think this one is good for money management and also for quality? Last question, hopefully. Sorry about the questions I'm asking you.

Questions = good :)

I would strongly recommend getting a monitor with adaptive sync (freesync). I explain why in that guide I linked but in short it can give much smoother gameplay - that Asus doesn't.

I'm finding this really hard but I can't find a monitor that is apart of the PC bundle and has the requirements to your monitor guide. Is there anyway you could help find me a really good monitor that can be apart of the PC bundle and meets the requirements to your monitor guide? I understand this is very time-consuming and is not worth your time at all. However, this would help me out so much. You've been such a great help and I really appreciate that.

Do you think the 27" MSI OPTIX MAG271CQR is a good monitor? I think I might go with that. I'm so sorry I'm asking so many questions, this is not like me. 😂

The guide lists a few :)
AOC C24G1 (24", VA, Freesync) -
(PCS) MSI OPTIX MAG241CPUK (24", VA, Freesync) -
AOC 24G2U (24", IPS, freesync)
AOC G2590PX (24", TN, G-Sync Compatible, Freesync - and its cheaper sibling with no height adjust the AOC G2590FX) -
AOC G2460PF (24", TN, Freesync) -

Be careful with monitor names, they are not very clear.

You've mentioned 2 MSI monitors. The MAG271CR and the MAG271CQR - the QR one being the one in your post above.

While the QR monitor is very good, it's 1440p resolution, and your GTX 1660 Super is not really a 1440p gaming card. You'd need a more powerful (and expensive) graphics card to really go best with that monitor e.g. the RX 5700

Perhaps best to stick to the MAG271CR if you like the look of that one, as it is 1080p 144hz and a better 'fit' for your system's hardware.

Oh, sorry about that.
I think the only monitor I can get is the MAG271CQR monitor, can my PC still run with that monitor positively? I don't mind spending more for that monitor as it is the only monitor that can be delivered with my PC with fast track delivery. Can the resolution get turned down from 1440p to 1080p anyways? I don't mind doing that, I just need this PC ASAP and it's one of the few best monitors that can be shipped with the fast track delivery.
I feel like I've repeated myself.
Also do you recommend getting fast track delivery? I don't why but I have a feeling that it might damage the PC because it is being made really quickly? I'm only asking as I think I might have to pick fast track as I need the PC ASAP.
I'm so sorry, I'm repeating myself a lot and I feel like this forum is getting a bit frustrating now. I do apologize for taking so much of your time.
