How can you tell if ARCTIC MX-4 EXTREME THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY COMPOUND has been used and not the standard stuff?

Another poster had the wrong past used by accident.

Is it easy to tell or do you have to take components out.

I don't want to go that far.

The only way to tell for sure is to remove the hardware. If you paid for different paste then there is no reason why pcs would not give you what you paid for. What temps are you getting?

I don't have my Vortex 3 yet!

It is on day 8 of Pre-production so it looks like it is weeks off yet, looking at the delivery time of other posters.

This is not a huge problem, I want it as soon as possibly but I would rather it took a bit longer and it was built right.

I only ask as another poster found out he had paid for the Artic paste but didn't get it.

An oversight but an impotent one nevertheless.
