Apple AirPrint

Hello,

if you get a printer with Apple AirPrint do you need to have a PC to set it up and load programs ect first of can you use it with an ipad?0

My dad tend to need o print things but but only uses Ipad/Iphone and not a PC/Laptop. would this work for him?

Hello, from my understanding a pc will not be necessary. It looks like you can send and control jobs via your phone.

You don't need a PC to airprint, works straight off the apple device. If the printer is connected directly to your router via wireless or cable, then you just need the relevant app on your IOS device to print from.
