Any one with a recent RMA experience

My laptop has now been with PCS for 3 weeks.
I appreciate COVID is going on so I'm not going to spit my dummy out i understand these aren't normal times.

I was just wondering what time frames people had on their RMA's during COVID.

My RMA tracker just says received by PCS. When I spoke to them on the chat two days ago I was told my RMA had been printed off so someone should be working on it.

I asked if I could get a time frame on when i could have some sort of update and i was told that wasn't possible.

Last time this laptop was RMA'd it was back within a week and a half with a new mother board installed and I had updates the minute they started working on it.

Again I appreciate COVID is disrupting things but this lack of communication is a bit frustrating.

What was the problem you reported? How easy will it be for PCS to reproduce?

Ok so PCS have actually just responded. The laptop was in a really bad state.
They have replaced the screen, motherboard (for the second time in approx 3 months) and one of the m.2 ssd's.
I have the worst luck with these laptops but god bless the free warranty upgrade i received a couple of months ago.

Ok so PCS have actually just responded. The laptop was in a really bad state.
They have replaced the screen, motherboard (for the second time in approx 3 months) and one of the m.2 ssd's.

Wow. That's really disappointing. Here's hoping it behaves itself when you get it back. :)

My laptop came back today and after some testing it would appear they have done an excellent job fixing all the faults. They had it for 3 weeks which in this current climate i find a very reasonable turn around time so right now i am very happy.

And just to give an update on my laptop, have also received this back! This was also sent back repaired 3 weeks after they received it.

The laptop got sent back for the 4th time i think the day after i wrote that post for the.
This was the update before my most recent one. The laptop is currently back with PCS waiting for them to assess whether or not they are going to refund/replace the laptop with something else.
