What will you use it for?

Not sure about the SSD though - intel 335 or 520, or even Kingston?

If you go for Intel I would get 520, otherwise the Kingston SSD's are really good (I have 2 computers with them)

Most ms office, Internet surfing and watching videos.
Want it to be super fast at loading up and to run multiple programmes without a sweat.

Will the integrated graphics affect the quality of the desktop etc. even though I don't play games, I still want the visuals too look ok and not poor.

The integrated gpu will be fine, any of the SSDs you posted should offer similar performance.

Can I just check that if I do purchase the intel 520 SSD which is sata 3, will the motherboard also support sata 3?

I would also like to know if I can have the Optimus iv instead because the voyager build definitely looks inferior. Only problem is that the gpu cannot be budged to integrated graphics. Surely pcs could do this for me?

It is SATA 6gb/s and the chassis should support it.

You mean remove the dedicated GPU? no you can't, the gpu is soldered to the chassis.

So the Optimus IV chassis has the nvidia card already soldered on, correct?

£8 difference for a bigger screen, and perhaps a different chassis? Any thoughts?

Sorry about that, this was meant to be here :S

Apart from fast boot of windows I don't see any other significant benefit of an SSD for your intended use, if you can push your budget to around £800 and drop the SSD you can get the optimus V with an i7 + GTX 765m which will perform significantly better gaming wise.

Thanks for the help. I went for the above specification, but I changed the ram to 1x8gb instead of 2x4gb
