I would choose a cheaper motherboard, triple copper heat pipe CPU cooler, caviar black main drive, drop ssd and upgrade the graphics card to the gtx 770

Why drop the ssd? Heard they're good for making the OS and applicants load faster

If you are on a budget and if it is mainly for gaming I would put more emphasis on the graphics card. The ssd is not essential and it won't improve gaming performance.

That's all true but if you don't need the 770 and could get away with a 760 you might well benefit from an SSD more.

You can always add an SSD later (Samsung 840 EVO 250GB is about £85). Having to upgrade the graphics card at a later date is a far bigger financial burden than adding an SSD. If your intended use is gaming, you are best getting as good a graphics card as possible (for your budget, as Keynes says, probably a GTX 770 or AMD R9 280x/290).

I'd probably go for this if I were you (don't think I've added all your peripherals)

Edit: posted wrong spec.

I've just heard that a 760 should be adequate for every game I play. My friend has a 660 and can run every game smoothly with high FPS.

the gtx 770 is going to futureproof your build longer but if you are not playing very demanding games then the gtx 760 should be adequate.

Well it would depend what games you play and at what resolution you play them. The real world difference is this: assuming you're playing at 1080p, since the GTX 770 is about 20-25% faster than the 760, you'd probably be able to play games at high settings with decent framerates for the next three years. With a 760, you're probably looking at two.
