Hi all, so I thought id just give you a quick run down of what I will be using this machine for first and where im coming from:

Currently im using a custom laptop from PC specialist thats about 3 years old and was more of a desktop replacement machine with
i7 3720QM @2.6GHz
16Gb Ram
GTX 680m graphics
240GB SSD
750GB WD Black second HDD

I use my machine a lot, for programming and playing around making 3D game engines as well as using things like unity and various graphics packages.
I also like gaming, and want to splurge a little and feel like I have an epic machine!!
I will want to add a second graphics card at some point in the not too distant future and probably get a 4K monitor at that point too.

The questions im asking myself are
1. Should i wait for the new Intel chips to come out and will they offer me much benefit.
2. Will i recieve any benefit from the X99 chips and would the faster ram be worth the overall price hike.
3. The X99 chips often have a lower clock speed but more cores, im also generally aware of the trends in making better multithreaded game engines, especially
with the new graphics api's being specifically focused on this. What are others views on this, is this relevant, am i reading too much into it!!!
4. Given the heavyweight software and likelyhood of using multiple large software packages concurrantly should i get more RAM!!! Ive never had problems with swapping before but ive been close.
Im tempted, but maybe im just being over the top.
5. To more SSD or not to more SSD.....

Budget is around £2000, I already have one decent monitor but need a second and other peripherals are not necessary.
