Antivirus and gaming...

Those of you who use their computers more for gaming than anything else, what antivirus if any do you use? ive currently got AVG on the old pc. Am debating whether to install one on the new PC..

I only use Windows Defender, haven't had malware in any of my computers since I was a teenager

The best defence to your system is you, the biggest threat to your system is you. Just be smart and don't do any of the obvious things that attract malware and you should be fine

Unfortunately AVG is nothing short of adware these days and highly recommended not to use:
