I was considering the Antec 300 for its more compact size and clean lines, but if I was to update my quote (from Coolermaster CM690 MKII Advanced Case) and send PC Specialist an Antec 300 case I had purchased seperately, would there be a need or ability to customise the case to improve cooling and add some sound reduction?
I am thinking of whether would need to replace fans with quieter/more efficient ones, add sound suppressing foam panels, disk drive/psu mounts/gaskets etc.
My system quote has an overclocked intel Core i7-875K prcessor
If PC Specialist thinks it is a good idea to do this, but do not offer this as a service, is this something that I would need to attempt myself after the system was built?
It's not "needed" but if you "wanted" to mod your case to add sound-proofing, then you're welcome to do so after you receive your order. It's not something we offer in-house at the moment.
