Hi all,
I have a Cosmos ii build I would like to pull the trigger on but the speaker issue is making me stall slightly. I know it sounds daft but for the cash I'm likely blowing I would prefer that the sound without compromises was slightly better than I've been reading about... maybe a 6 or 7 rather than the 5 the reviews I've read seem to point towards.
Noted that 'Soundblaster Cinema' is in the specs for the soundcard presumably this is likely to be a post purchase driver install? Does anyone know if this is possible and does it improve the sound at all? (think I read someone did it for the Optimus V and it improved sound quality a little!?)
I realise I can get aftermarket speakers/bluetooth speakers/just use headphones etc. But just interested to know if the sound can be bettered a bit (doesn't need to be great just tolerable) for those occasional times I cant be bothered setting up speakers or me and the missus watch an episode of something without having to don two sets of headphones, trailing leads/pairing devices etc.
Hoping build will be a fairly high end (for me) all rounder - audio/vid/photo editing/music production/entertainment/browsing and possibly a bit of gaming?
Ps going for the Cosmos ii over OptimusV due to IPS panel
Thanks in advance for any light shed on the above. :J
