Hello, me again. After the success of last year after my mate got a laptop using the recommendations some of you gave. He’s extremely happy with it. I now have a couple other friends again who I have sent this way but they want me to basically sort it out for them 😂 so I’m here asking for you help.
Build one. Budget £2000
17inch or biggest screen available. Could do 16 but he’s blind as a bat so bigger is better in this case !
It’s going to be a replacement for his desktop. He is expecting a baby in March so this will be his last present to himself for a while. He doesn’t mind about 4k happy to play at 1440p 1080p but he does want to play in the best graphics possible and 60fps locked min. He’s keen to have a 4080 as he thinks it will last longer and give him the fps boost needed. Helldivers, baldurs gate 3, hopefully GTA 6 when it arrives. Kingdom come 2, elder scrolls 6. He’s sold his ps5 so he will probably want to be able to play wolverine & Spider-Man games at a locked 60fps and at high settings.
Build 2 Budget £700/£800
Now this is more a need a laptop now for work and want to play a couple to my old games. Didn’t say anything about screen size. He would play games like Rome total war 2. He said he’s going to build a nice high end rig next year for gaming. So as long as this runs some of the older games. That should be fine
