Am I just really unlucky

My new laptop has now been back to PCS twice in its first few weeks of life.
But Yodel have now messed up!They claim it was delivered an hour ago, but it is not here, and no delivery person has visited.

Am I just unlucky? I'm certainly more than a little miffed.:yawn: roy

Yodel can only say that the system says it was delivered at 11.30 am, and they can't check anything till Monday, although there is a 'waiting for sig' note on it!
I emailed PCS but guess they are much the same over the weekend.
This is where I hope that the after sales service really kicks in. Roy

have ya check with neighbours? Was you at home when they state they have delivered your laptop?

It specifically says that the parcel cannot be signed for by neighbours, it has to be signed for at the delivery address. So i doubt that they delivered it to the neighbours :)

However, delivery drivers don't always follow instructions, so I'd check the neighbours anyway :)

I'd ring PCS first thing on Monday morning to be honest and get them to look into it (it'll be quicker if you ring, sometimes the emails get backed up a little I think)

Cheers for the words of encouragement, but I am worried where it has got to. It was supposed to be delivered to my work address and there were 2 of us there. It's a heck of a long road (up to 1400), so I hope it hasn't been dropped at the wrong number, but I just hope the driver can remember. Roy

Well the PCS guys are doing all they can to find the parcel. Yodel seem to be acting rather slowly, but although it says delivered on Saturday, it has now cropped up at Yeovil Service Centre, according to Yodel tracking.

Maybe, just maybe it will turn up tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Roy

fingers crossed, if it's been rattling around in a van all this time i'd definetly sign for it as "uninspected"

Looks like its back at the local Yodel centre in the early hours of this morning.
I've managed to work that out, but Yodel have not even replied to my call or emails. Roy

Whoopppeee it's arrived again.
Now I need to get PCS to help me get the wireless working again. Nearly there I hope.

A great service from Paul at tech support to set up the wireless drivers etc.
I don't think the service would have been so good at a shop/store (you know who!), and although it has been a hassle, it won't put me off recommending PCS.

Great to hear.

I had a problem with Yodel myself, so hopefully they will either up their game or PCS will choose a different delivery company in the near future.
