Alternative cases to the 5000D airflow

Hello!
I was planning on building my next PC with PCS and I had the build all sorted out. Basically just waiting for a good excuse to buy another one because I want to switch over from intel cpu to AMD cpu. Anyways...

I had my eyes set on the Corsair 5000D airflow case, and I noticed it was no longer an option. After speaking with the live chat I was told its likely it won't ever be back in stock . I wanted to get some advice on similar cases in terms of cooling / performance that PCS offer which is like the 5000D airflow. I will also provide my build I planned on putting into the 5000D.
Budget: Total under £3000
Monitor: 1440p 120hz

Many thanks in advanced!

Are you sure this is correct? I don't believe this resolution and refresh rate exists? Can we have the make and model?

The monitor is ultimately important, doesn't matter what PC you have or how powerful it is, the last component in the chain is the monitor, if you've got a substandard monitor, you could have a £10,000 pc, you'd still have a substandard experience because of the monitor holding the rest of the system back.

You'd have to spend quite a bit more to get the system road worthy as it currently is, but until we know the above we can't offer any concrete advice.

Your storage (well the models) are backwards…you want a 512gb Solidigm P44 Pro as your primary, and the secondary can be the slower Solidigm P41 Plus.

You can remove the Arctic thermal paste as the pre-applied Corsair paste on the cooler is better.

Unless it’s productivity/office PC the. I’d recommend a higher tier motherboard than a budget Prime one…the Tuf B650 Plus WifI is better quality, but if the budget is there and you need USB4, the the Gigabyte X870 Eagle is the next option.

The power level of the PSU is okay for your current needs, but it’s the lowest level of the newer ATX3.1 spec, which means it has less upgrade potential (cheaper components, lower power and fewer ports for other, or more powerful components).

As for cases, if you have the space for the extra width the 6500X or LianLi Evo have good airflow (from bottom & side).

My mistake, the monitor is a 1440p 144hz. I just cap it to 120 usually which is why I initially said 120hz (I'm only looking to reach no more than 120FPS in games).
My main focus here is the airflow of the case. Since the 5000D airflow isn't an option anymore, I wanted to hear peoples opinions on what else PCS has to offer, otherwise I'm going to just buy a 5000D airflow separate and send it in.

As said previously, the case is dependent on the rest of the build, currently it's not sufficient and you have several weak areas which need improving.

Unless you just want to order it as it is, but you'll have problems when it comes to upgrades and it wouldn't be recommended.

@TonyCarter has already recommended other options.

Ahh gotcha, I've had conflicting advice about this. The primary m.2 is just for OS and programs, nothing gaming related. I should have also stated the purpose of this PC is gaming and gaming only. It's why I opted for a bigger and faster m.2 for games to run on. I'm not too fussed on the slightly better speeds for my OS and programs if the only difference is load and boot times (unless there is something else I don't know) but I will heed your advice.
I did wonder about the motherboard but I just assumed the b650 plus vs the b650 plus with wifi just means the only difference is the ability to use wireless (I will only be using ethernet).
As for the PSU, perhaps I will budge up to the 850w but I don't see the point in going much higher then that. To me it seems like overspending when in reality I won't reach nearly the power consumption of the total wattage of the PSU (I won't be doing any OC'ing), but again I will take on board what you suggest.
The 6500x I will look into, this looks like it has some pretty good airflow and enough space :D

Other than what Tony said, is there anything else you suggest?

If none of the PCS cases attracts you, there are many others you can order in with "send in your own case". I'd consider the Fractal Meshify 2, the Phanteks XT Pro, or the Be Quiet Silent Base 802. But it all depends on making the whole build work together.

I wouldn't buy the 4070 Super, personally, I'd wait for the 5070 Ti

Case wise, I'm an uber fan of Lian Li O11D models, they'll all exceptional. I own one of the preceding versions and the quality of materials and build quality is second to none, they're also a dream to build in.

The reason for the change of storage was that PCS will usually install your OS on the fastest drive, as that's the drive that's in use all the time the PC is on.

The games drive doesn't really benefit from being super-fast, and there's only a tiny difference in game asset loading between a 3000MB/s Gen 3 SSD, a 6000MB/s Gen 4 SSD or a 12000MB/sS Gen 5 SSD, so it makes sense to get a bigger, slower drive for the same money (maybe even a 4TB Corsair drive, as games are coming in over 100GB each now).
