All purpose Blender/Photoshop and Gaming build

Hi All,

I have recently ordered the below and wondered what everyone thought of my £2,000 build? I am not all that interested in changing parts etc and causing delays but suggestions are welcome

*EDIT* My friend also has a 2070 super and will be upgrading to the new 3000 series from Nvidia (when they launch). We have an agreement that I will receive his old one for a princely sum of £200. Go SLI!

Was there a reason why you put a soundcard in?
I would say remove the soundcard, up the RAM speed to 3200MHz and swap the Intel M.2 Firecuda 2Tb seems to be cheaper than the samsung one, and the firecuda is the best available atm but about £80 more. The Intel ones are known to have issues, PCS own are actually better.

I'm sure someone with a proper eye may have a bit more to say, but those would be my immediate thoughts.
Also its commonly said not to use dual GPU's anymore, but may well be different with Blender I dont know anything other than its a modelling/animation program, but worth checking as you mention SLI and this other 2070 Super in few months

Why are you asking for opinions if you've no interest on changing anything? Sorry but it doesn't make sense... maybe I'm missing the point? What do you want to know?

AH i didn't know that about those intel NVME drives. Have made the changes you have suggested! (Saved a number of £s overall, thank you!)

Yeah, not sure there either. There's at least 4 changes I'd make to that build but seems pointless suggesting them

Well he says he changed some of the things I said, what would you alter?
