Couple of options, this would be a laptop for portability, so better battery life, but only goes as high as the 4070 which is only just good enough to power the screen, so lifetime will be shorter

This would be over budget but is the next GPU up which would last a lot longer, but it's a DTR (Desktop replacement) it's not designed so much to be fully portable, only to get you to a place where you can set up the required water cooler, plus battery life will be poor

If you dont mind me asking.....is intel better than AMD Ryzen?
There's 2 separate areas, laptops and desktops.

On desktops, Intel are vastly inferior, clinging on to fanboys who can't decipher marketing lies from reality.

On laptops, it's a much closer call. But personally I'd always choose AMD as they run far cooler, and more efficiently. Problem is they're produced in lower numbers and are extremely popular, so they tend to sell out fast.

PCS build custom laptops, and custom chassis are announced every year at CES in January and go on sale either in February or March. The AMD options will all sell out by June or July. So if you're looking for AMD, you have to be on the market ready in February or March if you want a custom chassis.

I would still prefer AMD also but I have no issues whatsoever recommending Intel in the laptop sector. There has been mention about the issues falling over to the laptop scene but I haven't seen any statistical evidence to support it, seems just typical failure rates as would be expected.

The newest AMD vs Intel battle on their thin and light mobile chipsets is looking extremely promising.

This is the new AMD AI 300 series and the Intel Core Ultra 200 series. Both with embedded graphics and built in AI processors.

The really surprising thing is that early reviews somehow bench the AMD processors as outperforming the new Snapdragon Elite Arm processors and even edging them in efficiency and battery life which I don’t think anyone could have imagined happening.

We’re now getting very early reports that the Intel offerings are keeping up with AMD too.

Both of these have higher power version (the full power HX models) aimed at gaming and productivity I believe around CES in January.

Coupd be a very exciting battle. We’re talking battery life upwards of 15 hours in general use!
