Playing with specs for a new PC that will last me for the next 5 years or so, starting off reasonably powerful and aging gracefully over time without much need for upgrading.
Not worried about overclocking and would like it to run quietly as it will be in the living room. This rules out Xtreme looking/huge cases with neon lights too, but I do plan on adding a couple of spare hard drives from my current PC so need some spare bays. I went for a slightly larger PSU as well to cover any additional power this may need, or a graphics card update in 3 or 4 years.
Any advice on the spec below much appreciated. Looking for the total cost to come in between £1,000 - £1,200.
