A useful little reporting tool

I've come across the Intel System Support Utility (SSU), a tool which I'd not seen before. As the name implies it's designed primarily for submitting data to Intel when you're having problems, it basically collects all the data about your system (much like msinfo32 does) but you don't have to submit the data, you can simply save it locally as a text file - and of course upload it here. The tool allows you to open previously saved files, so user uploaded files could be opened in the SSU where they are much easier to read than in their raw text file format.

Some things I particularly like about this tool are that it displays the SMART data for all drives, it lists all updates installed into Windows (and their title) and full details of the network adapter bindings and advanced settings. These are all very useful bits of information when we're troubleshooting.

The Intel System Support Utility (ssu.exe) requires no installation, you just run it from wherever it is, and can be downloaded from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-. I can see that for some problems it would be handy to have the user run the SSU and upload the output. :)
