As the title suggests, it’s been a decent period of being awake. I got to see two good friends cement their love for each other and tie the knot, the wedding meal was a roast chicken dinner (with a giant tray of ‘help yourself’ pigs in blankets placed next to me, I did some serious damage to the porcine community), and my newborn son was getting some serious attention from the ladies. I felt like his wingman as he was hauling in vast amounts of female attention.
But to get back to the intended feels of a gaming post, I have the baby balanced on one thigh, my good lady snoozing on the other and my iPad wedged between them.
On said iPad I have fired up FTL and lucked out a on X4 burst laser 2 situation for the very first time, as early as sector 2. I also happened upon a weapon pre-igniter and X2 automatic reloads.
I am spitting death.
