A high end PC for gaming and a bit of “work” - no graphics card included for now

Pallet is needed with the 5000T IIRC. The pallet is just with the size.

With the Options as they are on the configurator at the moment I would think the 3500X would suit your needs. Otherwise the send your own option is pretty good.
I'd really strongly consider the send-in-your-own option. The price for most of the cases I've suggested above is pretty good and you get a much bigger selection so you can get what you actually want. The 5000T is very expensive if you're buying it based on size rather than aesthetic appeal.

Have been swayed by the 5000T. Comes with 3 icue fans (granted not the more recent rx120s) and factoring that in plus the extra led "fairy lights" the 5000T has got the vote (esp. from the teenage son). Between my wife and son I really don't get much choice....:ROFLMAO:

Hi all. Hope everyone is well.
Just a quick query. Whilst sit in pre-processing limbo for my 5000 series graphics card would be interested in views on having my secondary drive changed from the Corsair 4TB MP600 Pro to 4TB Crucial T705 (primary drive is a 1TB Crucial T705) which is now available on the selector. Secondary drive will be used to hold the games :) and primary for OS.

I think the MP600 Pro is the best option overall.

You won't see any benefit in the T705 for games storage, so no point spending another £120 on it. Even the £70 cheaper Core XT MP600 would still be fine for games storage.

However the MP600 Pro wins due to it's better endurance (3000TBW vs 600TBW vs 450TBW of the T705 and Core XT respectively), and is TLC (3-bit/cell) like the T705 vs QLC of the Core XT. Which says to me the Corsair is a 'prosumer-level' drive and the others are just 'consumer-level'.

No benefit to the increased speeds for gaming,

Not for an extra £180. A game drive doesn't need the extra speed, nor will it utilise it
