9800X3D Global Failures - 100+ since November

I wasn't aware of any issues until I spotted this today. Obviously it's not a systematic issue, but still worth knowing about. ASRock getting the headlines but could be through popularity/value as I know those boards were offering the best bang for buck at one point.

I like the way they casually mention “only 2 9950X3D failure” as if it’s a less failure-prone CPU, when it’s only been out a few weeks

But it doesn’t make it clear whether these are fatal CPU failures/damage or just temporary motherboard issues.

It may just be an expected rate of failure tbh. It would come down to %ages. I think the strange thing is how quickly the failures are happening but time will tell I guess.
