Leaving aside politics, which is a sensitive subject that I care little about, today marks the eightieth anniversary of my country's liberation from what I consider to be the darkest period of the twentieth century in Europe and, possibly, the entire world.
It's a shame that 80 years later, we're still making the same mistakes, ignoring the millions of lives lost during WWII.
