750gb momentus xt or 240gb ssd

hmmmm,

the momentus xt is much cheaper than a 240gb ssd. and looking at some reviews it comes over as being quite good.

so would it be worth fitting that instead of a 240gb ssd? the laptop will mainly be used for gaming. I am happy with the rest of the specs ive decided on im just thinking about the hybrid drive...... i have the weekend to decide if anybody would like to put their 2 penneth worth in id appreciate it.

Thats what i was thinking......i would like a ssd as i have never had one and everybody says they are great but is speed everything, especially in gaming? I have a good processor the i7 2.2 and the 6990m graphics chosen So would a ssd make that much difference over the momentus?

the SSD will only improve boot time of windows and the loading of games that are on the SSD, if you choose a SSD you will certainly need another drive alongside it whereas everything will be improved on a hybrid but not by as much speed wise, but you wont require a second drive that would most likely be a standard 500gb drive or something

so, hybrid all the way
