3610QM vs 3720QM (and above)?

I was just curious as to whether there are any advantages to getting a processor higher than 3610QM aside from the slight (and unnoticeable?) boost in processor power. Might there be any differences in CPU heat and the % of failure, for example?

Any advantages at all?

For video editing and encoding etc a high clocked processor such as the 3720QM will be faster than a 3610QM, there is a reasonable jump in power between them, it's just not noticed when doing something such as gaming which is more GPU intesive. Can't say about heat etc, I'd guess that if they're the same wattage then heat output will be roughly the same, might not be true though but seems logical. Can't say about percentage failure though.
