3070 power supply...

Hey guys , managed to get a 3070 a couple of days ago.
Its a double 8 pin power i belive.

So I swapped out my 2070 super and just popped in the same connections which were 8 and 6 via 1 power cable. (I think)
So can connect the power to the card via the 1 lead because its got 2 x 8 pins.

Or do I need to run two separate leads with 1x 8 pin on each. Inhope that makes sense 🤣

Just to add. Its connected and running atm

Its running games. But I can't see any noticeable difference on my FPS on medium settings.
Also the screen on the side give me a readout of power consumption which seems to be fine

You need 2 separate pcie cables supplying the card.

Has to be the PCIe power lines also.
