Hi all, now my PC is nearly six years old it is sorely in need of an upgrade and I looking for some advice on whether the below build is up to scratch to be paired with a 3070 (or 3080 if funds allow) on release. The total build cost needs to top out around the £1500 mark so the below allows approx £600 for GPU budget.
I am also considering buying the below now, installing my ageing GTX 980 and then buying the GPU on its own come October so if you have any words of wisdom against this they would also be appreciated.
The build is for purely gaming with no streaming, editing requirements and (for now) it to be paired with my Acer Nitro VG271UPbmiipx 27 1400p 144hz monitor. On a single screen set up however I want the wiggle room to upgrade to a 2 screen set up in the future. I also intend to install my current drive, an M2 WD Blue SN550 so a quicker drive that selected isn't necessary.
Thanks in advance.
