3070/5800X Build

New build arrived yesterday. Absolutely over the moon and once again PCS provided great service from start to finish. CPU was well packaged and build quality excellent. Was pleased with the Zotac card and must admit when I seen it was white I didn't know what to think but it has grown on me. Quick question guys. In the 2nd image there is a little cable that doesn't seem to be doing anything and appears connected to the Mother Board. I don't want to touch it incase it is serving a purpose but I am unsure as to what it is??

That looks like the MoBo speaker, the one that emits start up beeps etc

@Martinr36 is correct, it's a PC speaker for emitting motherboard beep codes.

Just as an additional, I've never liked the raw look of the pc speaker just on two bare wires.

You can neaten it up with some heatshrink wrap which is just a sleeve you cover over the cables, and then apply a gentle heat source and the wrap shrinks around the cable and covers it up really nicely.
